About Us

Who I am: I am a St. Louis-based wedding and portrait photographer, but I love to travel (for fun or for work!) and have photographed weddings across the US and abroad! I have had my work published in national and regional magazines and have been named 2013 St. Louis Photographer of Year by the St. Louis Wedding Awards and a Best of Weddings winner by The Knot based on customer reviews for the last three years in a row. I have an amazing family, awesome friends, the two cutest dogs in the world, and I love what I do for a living!

A Little More About Me: I believe I have the best job in the world, not just because I love meeting new people and taking pictures (which I do!), but because I love the ability to capture humor or feelings; the quirks and personality of a person; or the love and relationships within a family. I am personally inspired by the belief that I am creating images and art pieces that will become precious family heirlooms. Every day I strive to make creative, timeless, fun, and beautiful pictures to be enjoyed today by parents and grandparents, but to be enjoyed tomorrow by children, grandchildren, and future generations.

I believe that my work is set apart from most photography studios by my distinctly personal and playful approach and by the amount of care I put into each portrait session and wedding I photograph. For many people, family and wedding pictures are their most cherished and enjoyed possessions, so I want to spend time with every person I photograph; talk with them, get to know them, and help them to relax and enjoy their time with me so that I can capture their unique style and personalities. When I work with a child, I want them to have as much fun as I’m having while photographing them! Children have the most beautiful and natural expressions if you just play with them and let them be themselves. In the end I want to give every client not just one good image, but lots of pictures that they love and fun memories to go with those images.
